Murphy Freeman. - NEW IBERIA - Funeral services were to be conducted at St. 
Peter's Catholic Church in New Iberia today at 3 p. m. for Murphy J. "Te 
Black" Freeman, age 50, who died at his residence 217 1/2 French St., Sunday 
at 9 a. m.

Interment was to be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman was the son of the late Sidney Freeman. He was a lifelong 
resident of New Iberia.

Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Sidney Freeman, the former Lena Sandoz.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p. m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.

The David Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
