NEW IBERIA

Death of Mrs. Gall.

NEW IBERIA, La., Aug. 7. - [Special] ...Yesterday, at 10:30 p. m., Mrs. 
Clara Louisa Gall, nee Porter, died at the residence of her husband in this 
parish. The funeral took place from the Methodist church this evening at 4 
o'clock.

Mr. Sylvanus Gall, the bereaved husband, is a member of one of the largest 
families in this parish and has the sympathies of everyone in this 
unfortunate hour. Rev. Mr. Medlock officiated and paid the deceased a 
fitting tribute. The church was crowded with freinds of the family.
