Hugh Lynchihas (sic) been sorely afflicted with typhoid fever for two months or more, culminating on the 20th in the death of Miss Lucie A. Garrett, his sister-in-law, and daughter of Mr. M. A. Garrett. The unfortunate young lady was the first victim of the disease, and her death was the result of a relapse. Several other members of the family have also been afflicted.
