The home of Capt. Hugh Lynchihas (sic) been sorely afflicted with typhoid 
fever for two months or more, culminating on the 20th in the death of Miss 
Lucie A. Garrett, his sister-in-law, and daughter of Mr. M. A. Garrett. The 
unfortunate young lady was the first victim of the disease, and her death was 
the result of a relapse. Several other members of the family have also been 
afflicted.
