MRS. FRED GATES.

Died, at New Orleans on Wednesday, October 16th, 1918, Mrs. Fred Gates, Jr., 
nee Alphonsine Dubus, a native of New Iberia and a daughter of the late 
Judge Dubus also of this City. The remains of deceased were escorted here by 
her husband and daughter and a private interment conducted in the family 
burial plot in St. Peter's cemetery on Thursday at 5 o'clock. Besides her 
bereaved husband, decendent (sic) leaves two children, Mr. Earl Gates now in 
France and a daughter, Miss Mariette.
