Weeka (sic), Mrs. Willie Patout and Miss Zig Decuir, now residing in Texas, and Frank Decuir, the minute clerk of the 19th Judicial District Court, this city. She was a most estimable lady, loved by all who knew her. While she was ever ready to make any sacrifice for the loved ones of her own home, she was most exemplary in her devotion to her parents and her solicitude for their comfort in their declining years. The orphaned son is a student at the Louisiana State University. He was summoned home by the critical illness of his mother, but ere he reached her side, her spirit had flown. source: New Iberia Enterprise and Independent Obserber.
