Died: At New Orleans, La. on Wednesday, August 21st, 1907 at 11:30 o'clock P. 
M. Mrs. Sylvia Gonsoulin nee Decuir Age 65 years.

The funeral took place from St. Peters Catholic Church on Thursday afternoon, 
August 22 at 5 P. M. attended by sorrowing relatives and friends.

Mrs Gonsoulin leaves two children to mourn her loss, Mrs J Levert and Sidney 
Gonsoulin.

Death has called away Mrs. Sylvia Gonsoulin, nee Decuir, widow of Mr. Filias 
Gonsoulin who died here several years ago. She passed away in New Orleans 
Wednesday but the remains were brought here today at noon and her many friends 
attended the funeral from St. Peters Catholic church this afternoon at 5 
o'clock. Mrs. Gousoulin (sic) was well known here having lived most of her 65 
years here and being closely related to families hereabouts. She wss (sic) 
greatly respected and is sincerely mourned by a host of friends. She leaves two 
children Mr Sidney Gonsoulin and Mrs. Albert Levert of St. Martinville.
