DIED: At his residence in this city, on Wednesday afternoon August 2nd, 
Louis K Hedt, a native of Germany, in his 60th year. The funeral took place 
Thursday from the Methodist Church.

Mr. Louis K. Hedt, a resident of this town for years, died at his home East 
End, last Thursday, August 3d, 1905, at 5:30 o'clock. Mr. Hedt was born 
March 31, 1846, was a native of Prussia, Germany. During his residence here, 
he applied himself to his business and by industry and thrift, accumulated 
considerable property. He enjoyed the respect of the community and had many 
friends. "Little Louis" was a prime favorite with all, was accommodating and 
clever to everyone. He leaves a wife and family to mourn his loss. His 
remains was interred in the Protestant Cemetery. The funeral obsequies were 
held at the Episcopal Church, Rev. C. C. Kramer, officiating. Mr. Hedt 
sustained an injury about a year ago, which no doubt hastened his demise.
