Mr. and Mrs. C. A. hitter had the sad misfortune to lose their little son, 
Alphonse Edmond Hitter, last Monday, at 7 o'clock A. M.

The little fellow had been very ill for about ten days, and although 
recovery seemed impossible his death came as a shock to the parents and 
relatives.

Alphonse E. Hitter was born on January 27, 1918, being three years and a few 
weeks old at death.

The funeral services were conducted at 5 o'clock Monday evening from St. 
Peter's Catholic Church.

The Iberian joins with the hundreds of friends of the bereaved parents in 
extending sympathy in their hour of sadness.

We wish to express our thanks to the many kind friends who came to our 
assistance during the recent illness and death of our little son, for the 
many beautiful floral offerings given, and the aid and sympathy extended 
during our time of trouble. - MR. AND MRS. C. A. HITTER.
