Mrs. J. W. Holloway, died in New Iberia, on Thursday, August 21st, 1902, at 
12:15 o'clock A. M. aged 85 years, 9 months and 15 days. The funeral took 
place from the Methodist Church on Thursday at 3 o'clock P. M. Her remains 
were followed to their last resting place by a large number of friends and 
relatives, to whom the Iberian extends its heartfelt sympathy.

Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. J. W. Halloway, in the 
85th year of her age, surrounded by loved ones who tenderly laid her to 
rest, crowned with the glory of her four score years, full of Christian 
duties well performed.
