The venerable Mr. W. P. Hudson, a highly esteemed citizen of Jeanerette and 
father-in-law of Mr. A. L. Monnot, died at the latter's summer home, at 
Biloxi, on June 5th, aged 71 years. His remains were brought to Jeanerette for 
interment.
