Saturday, August 30, 2008, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Inzerella passed away at New Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA on August 28, 2008 at 6:05 P.M. She was a retired Deputy Clerk of Court of Iberia Parish. She was also very active with little theatre having starred in several plays; among those were The Great Big Doorstep, Harvey, and Arsenic and Old Love. She also was the assistant director of Bus Stop. Mrs. Inzerella was a great story teller. She delighted and welcomed the opportunity to tell stories of her life, her children and family. Her great personality and smile brightened the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her culinary talents and enjoyed entertaining at small dinner parties and family gatherings. Her hobbies were writing short stories, novels and poetry. This she did with style and grace. She also enjoyed reading and meeting people. Her friends were many and stretched from coast to coast. Known by many as Flu, or Mama Pasta or Mama Inzerella, she was always a pleasure to be around, and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children, a son, Ronald Joseph Inzerella of New Iberia, LA; three daughters, Patricia Annette I. Manes and her husband, John Allen, Cynthia (Cindy) Marie I. Pugliese and her husband Emil Michael of Toms River, NJ, and Maria Theresa Inzerella of New Iberia, LA; five grand-children, Christopher Lee Manes of Dallas, TX, Gretchen Nichole Manes of Dallas, TX, and Sara Bethany Manes of Broussard, LA, Emil Nicholas Pugliese and Emily Annette Pugliese of Toms River, NJ; one great grandson, Christopher Elliott of Toms River, NJ; one great granddaughter, Brianna Lynn Pugliese of Toms River, NJ; two sisters, Frances P. Conti of Monroe, Elizabeth(Libby) P. Fontana of Greenville, MS; her brother, Salvadore C. Pitarro and his wife Pat of Monroe; and a sister-in-law, Mamie Pitarro of West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Frank and Josephine Denise Pitarro of Monroe; two brothers, Charles Frank Pitarro, Jr and Ricardo (Lil' Ricky) Pitarro of Monroe; one grand-daughter, Jennifer Catherine Inzerella of New Iberia, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and/or St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe.
