Word was received here on Thursday of the death, in Port Neches, Texas, of Mr. Phil Kramer, former citizen of New Iberia. Mr. Kramer had moved to that town about six years ago, and was fifty five years of age at his death, which occurred at seven o'clock P. M., Wednesday of this week. It was known that he was quite ill, and his brother, Will Kramer, had gone there to be with him during his sickness, but his death was entirely unexpected. The funeral took place in Beaumont, Texas, at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Besides his wife the deceased leaves one son and one daughter, and his brother Will Kramer, and sister, Mrs. Joe Courrege, both of New Iberia.
