Died, at the residence of his parents in Fausse Pointe on Tuesday, Nov. 18th, 1913, Jules Lafontaine, aged 22 years. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Loreauville on Wednesday evening at three o'clock. He leaves a father, a mother, an aunt, two sisters and a wife to mourn his demise. The remains were interred in St. joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Loreauville. The friends of the afflicted family sympathize with them in their hour of distress. The sudden and unfortunate conditions that characterized the death of Jules Lafontaine, merely emphasizes the uncertainties of life and the fickle endurance of individual existence. In the prime of physical and mental development with the herculean strength of a perfect physique and energizing force of a healthy intellect, and an uninterrupted record of industry, sobriety and endeavor, the shock and the blow of his demis to kith(sic) and kin and friends, staggered the best and loftiest sensibilities of his immediate surroundings.
