DIED: At her residence at Spanish Lake on Tuesday, January 23d, 1912, at 11:30 
P. M., Mrs. Alphonse Landry, nee Clara Comeaux, a native of Lafayette parish, 
born Oct. 12, 1847. The funeral took place from the Catholic Church on 
Wednesday evening at 4:15 o'clock.

Died, at her residence at Spanish Lake on Tuesday, January 23d, 1912, at 
11:30 o'clock P. M., Mrs. Alphonse Landry, nee Clara Comeaux, a native of 
Lafayette Parish. Deceased was born on Oct. 12th, 1847. She leaves to mourn 
her demise four children, two sons, Messrs. P. Anthony Landry of this City 
and Mr. Gabriel Landry, a prosperous planter of this Parish and two married 
daughters, residing in the Parish of Lafayette. The funeral obsequies were 
held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in this City on Wednesday evening in the 
presence of a large concourse of sympathizing friends and relatives. The 
family have the sympathy of the entire community in the hour of their great 
loss.
