Death of Children. - During the present week the industrious reaper, death, 
has been busy with his sickle in our parish.

On Sunday night Mr. Zenon Decuir lost a child. On Tuesday, Mr. Lastie 
Bertrand, of Fausse Pointe, had a similar misfortune. On Wednesday Mr. 
Gashon Broussard, also of Fausse Pointe, lost one his little ones,and on 
Friday, Mr. Edward Laughlin and his wife Mrs. Jennie Barthe, were called 
upon to make a sacrifice of one of their idols, a boy of one year and four 
and one-half months old.
