NECROLOGICAL.

On Sunday afternoon's So. Pa. Train No. 9, the remains of Edward Granville 
Laughlin were brought home for burial. The funeral services took place from 
the First M. E. Church, South, at 4:30 p.m. The deceased was a son of the 
late Edward Laughlin, Sr., and a nephew of G. Clifford and Frank Laughlin, 
of this city. He was one of the victims of the Texas & Pacific R R wreck, 
near Alexandria on last Saturday mourning.

The funeral of Mr. Edward Granville Laughlin, son of the late Edward 
Laughlin, who was killed in a railroad wreck a few miles west of Alexandria 
last Saturday morning was held in New Iberia on Sunday afternoon from the 
Methodist Episcopal church at 4:30 o'clock. The young man leaves to mourn 
his demise, besides his widow and children, one sister, Mrs. Thomas J. 
Burnham of this City. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of 
friends.
