On Tuesday, Jan. 5th, 1915, the Angel of Death took from our midst our 
beloved towns-woman, Mrs. Edward LeBlanc. Mrs. LeBlanc who before her 
marriage was Miss Ezilda Romero, was one of the best known and best beloved 
women of this Parish and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She 
leaves a husband and one son, Mr. Edward LeBlanc, Jr., to mourn her demise. 
She has always been a faithful member of St. Peter's Catholic church and the 
large crowd of sympathetic mourners at her funeral only attested her great 
worth and how much she was beloved by all. The bereaved family and relatives 
have the deepest sympathy of this community in their great loss.

DEATH OF MRS. LEBLANC. - The friends of Mrs. Edward LeBlanc, nee Ezilda 
Romero, a daughter of the late Sylvester Romero of the Fifth Ward were 
grieved last Tuesday morning upon learning of her death at the home of her 
husband on Tuesday morning, January 5th, at 5:30 o'clock. Deceased was in 
the prime of life, aged only 49 years, 10 months and 10 days. The funeral 
services were held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Wednesday afternoon at 
3 o'clock. She leaves to mourn her demise her husband and her son, Edward 
LeBlanc Jr. and three sisters and one brother, Mesdames Eloi Lopez of Lake 
Charles, Henry Landry of Lois Station, Mrs. L. P. Latina of Segura and Mr. 
Adolphe (Noon) Romero of the Fifth Ward. The family have the sympathy of 
their relatives and friends throughout the State.
