James A. Lee. - Funeral of the late Dr. James A. Lee was held last Saturday 
fornoon between the hours of 10 and 11 o'clock. The funeral was a large one 
attesting the popularity and esteem in which the deceased was held by the 
people of this city and community. Remains were laid to their final resting 
place in the Protestant Cemetery in West End. New Iberia mourns the lost of 
one of its best, and most progreddive business men in the passing away of 
Dr. Lee, and the world loses one of its finest and truest gentlemen, one who 
made his suroundings all the better for his having lived amongst us and lost 
no opportunity to scatter sunshine along the pathway of life. Peace to his 
ashes.
