Died at his home on Lake Peigneur, in the parish, on the 9th inst., Mr. Rene 
Lemaire, aged 27 years, a son of Mr. Valerie Lemaire, and the father of two 
young children, the loving comforters of a disconsolate mother. The remains 
of deceased were laid to rest in the family cemetery at Delcambre. Our 
venerable friend, Mr. V. Lemaire feels the loss of this devoted son very 
keenly, and more particularly so soon after the loss of two grandchildren, 
Sidney Romero, aged 20 years, at Orange, on Sept. 14th, and Clelie Lemaire, 
on Sept. 20th, a 12 year old daughter of Mr. V. C. Lemaire. In this and 
period of affliction he has the warm sympathy of a host of friends.
