Mr. Elias S. Loeb, a traveling man out of New Orleans was found dead in a chair 
car of the Southern Pacific Railroad last Monday night when the train was a few 
miles of Jeanerette. The remain (sic) were then brought to New Iberia and placed 
in the Broussard Undertaking Parlors after which they were sent to New Orleans 
for interment. Mr. Loeb was well-known here among our business men. His wife and 
children are residents of Montgomery, Ala.
