Longtin died at his residence, No. 520 Jane street, on Thursday, December 10th, 1914, at 5:45 o'clock in the evening, at the age of 40 years. He was a native of St. Philip, Canada. The funeral took place yesterday from St. Peter's Catholic Church at 3 o'clock p. m. source: New Iberia Enterprise and Independent Observer. This community was shocked last Thursday evening when it became known that Mr. Longtin had been stricken with heart failure and died suddenly at his residence No. 520 Jane Street at 5:45 o'clock. Deceased came to New Iberia with his little family about nine years ago and engaged in the dairying business. He made many warm friends among our citizens. He was aged only forty years, being a native of St. Philip, Canada. He leaves to mourn his demise a widow and one little daughter eleven years of age. The funeral was held from St. Peter's Catholic church yesterday afternoon at three o'clock. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
