KATE PAMILLA MIGUES.

The numerous friends of Miss Kate Pamilla Miguez, the only daughter of Mrs. 
Alphonse Migues, were grieved last Tuesday afternoon when word reached New 
Iberia that the young lady had succumbed in the city of New Orleans at four 
oclock that day. Miss Miss Migues had been in wretched health for several 
months and was taken to one of the sanitariums in the above mentioned place 
for medical attention and instead of improving, continued to grow weaker 
until she finally passed away. The remains were brought to her home and on 
Wednesday afternoon the funeral services were held at St. Peter's Catholic 
church at 5 o'clock, after which hundreds of sympathetic friends escorted 
the remains to the Catholic cemetery for the interment. Miss Miguez was born 
in this City in the year 1877 and from early childhood was always held in 
great esteem by all who knew her lovable character. She leaves to mourn her 
demise a grief-stricken mother and three devoted brothers. The family have 
the sympathy of the community.

NECROLOGICAL.

Died: At New Orleans, On Tuesday, August 31st, 1915, at 4 o'clock P. M., Miss
Kate Pamilla Migues, born August 29, 1877; daughter of Eliza Balch and the late
Alphonse Migues. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic church on
Wednesday, Sept. 1st, at 5 o'clock P. M.
