Death has again invaded an Iberian home and taken from thence its light and 
joy. Our esteemed confrere, Mr. E. F. Milliard and wife have experienced the 
bitterness of bereavement, in the going hence of their bright infant boy, John 
Colgin Millard, who died Sunday, 26th and was buried on the 27th from the 
residence of the parents. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved 
couple, and trust that time, will temper their grief and cause them to bear 
with patience this great loss.

John Colgin Millard. - John Colgin Millard, aged one year, seven months and sixteen
days, passed away at the home of his parents, E. F. Millard and Stella Colgin, at
7:30 o'clock last Sunday morning, July 26th, after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held from the residence No. 209 French street, Monday morning
at 10 o'clock, Rev. C. C. Kramer officiating, and interment made in the Protestant
Cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the community in this their hour
of sorrow.
