Jeanerette, La., March 14. - Dr. George P. Minvielle of this city died last night at the sanitarium in Patterson where he had gone to undergo an operation, and the body was brought here today for interment. Dr. Minvielle was well known in his native parish, Iberia, where he had a large practice and was noted for his many acts of charity. The funeral services were conducted from the Catholic church this afternoon, the Woodmen of the World of which he was a member acting as escort. At the time of his death he was 64 years old. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Bertha Calery, four daughters, Miss Julie Eva, Livie and Georgette, Mrs. Sigur Lambremont, one son, Louis Minvielle, one brother, Earnest Minvielle and one sister, Mrs. John H. Gay, all of this city.
