(New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, March 04, 1905, Image 1 At his residence, corner of Main and Chestnut streets, on last Sunday night, Mr. Cleopha Naquin died. The funeral took place Monday afternoon from St Peters Catholic Church. Mr. Naquin was in good health but a short while before At supper, however, he complained and retired to his room early. Before his family could appreciate that he was ill his life was rapidly going out. (New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, March 04, 1905, Image 3 Last Monday, at 4 p. m., all that was mortal of Mr. Cleophile Naquin was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery surrounded by a large crowd of sympathizing friends and brothers of the Knights of Temperance, of which deceased was an honored member. The funeral services at the Catholic Church were conducted by Father Frohn in his usual impressive manner. The exhortation and admonition of the eloquent young priest were most searching and positive. The uncertainty of life and the necessity of preparation for the great event were portrayed in the most feeling manner, which affected all present.
