(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, November 09, 1918, Image 5 Died, at his residence in New Iberia on Tuesday, Nov. 5th, 1918, Mr. Darneville Norris, aged 27 years. Mr. Norris had been sufferer from lung trouble for several years and his death was not unexpected. He was a son of Mr. Telesphore Norris, formerly of this Parish, now a resident of Pharr, Texas. He leaves four brothers to mourn his demise, Messrs. Wilfred Norris in the U. S. Army in France; Voltair Norris now in a training camp in California; Mr. Lucius of Durboin and Mr. Elie of Beaumont. The funeral was held at St. Peter's Catholic church on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. *********************************************************************** 2nd. He was an invalid for the past ten years. His funeral took place from St. Peters Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock.
