(New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, July 17, 1920, Image 5 ACHILLE PATIN. - News of the sudden death of Mr. Achille Patin arrived in this city Tuesday evening. Although in failing health for the past few years, his death was unexpected, as he passed away while sitting in a chair holding his only child a boy about eighteen months. He had been running a hotel in St. Martinville for the last two or three years, but was all packed ready to move to Churchpoint on the following day, where he was to run a hotel. The funeral services were held in St. Martinville on Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock. Besides his wife and child he is survived by two brothers, W. A. Patin of Sunset, and Frank of New Orleans and two sisters, Mrs. L. C. Giffe of Sunset, and Mrs. J. M. Perry of New Iberia.
