MRS. GALL O. PHARR.

Died, at the residence of her husband, near Spanish Lake on Thursday night, 
May 9th at 10:30 o'clock, Mrs. Carrie May Morse Pharr, the beloved wife of 
our fellow-citizen Mr. Gall O. Pharr, and daughter of Capt. Thos. L. Morse 
of Morgan City. Deceased had reached her forty-fifth year, and her 
unexpected and sudden death was a shock to the community. Mrs. Pharr 
exemplified in every act the highest type of noble womanhood, and led an 
unassuming life and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She leaves to 
mourn her sad demise several devoted sons and daughters, besides her grief-
stricken husband and father. The funeral was held from the Methodist 
Episcopal church in this City on Friday afternoon at 4:30 in the presence of 
a large concourse of sympathetic relatives and friends, Rev. Brown 
officiating. The Enterprise extends its condolences to the bereaved family.
