Died, at the residence of his brother, Gall O. Pharr, Burke Station, on Thursday, August 20th at 12:40 A. M., Fitzgerald Parker Pharr, born May 10th, 1891, the youngest son of Mrs. E. A. Pharr of Spanish Lake. The young gentleman had been a sufferer for the past twelve months of tuberculosis of the leg which had been brought on by a bruise while indulging in a game of baseball with his class mates at Baton Rouge. Several operations had been performed on his limb, think it would be possible to check the disease, but without success. Deceased was a general favorite with his family and was esteemed and admired by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance and leaves to mourn his loss besides his devoted and grief-stricken mother several brothers and sisters. The funeral was held the same afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the Methodist church, Rev. Lutz officiating. The family have the sincere sympathy of their friends.
