(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, June 24, 1916, Image 4 MRS. HENRY POIMBOEUF. The sudden death at Lafayette last Saturday morning at 7:30 of Mrs. Henry Poimboeuf, a native of Loreauville, was a distinct shock to her grief- stricken parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Decourt of the above place. Deceased was apparently in the best of health when she retired the night previous. During the latter part of the night she was taken suddenly ill and her family physician gave her such relief that she soon went into a deep slumber. Early the next morning her husband discovered her in a dying condition and at the hour above mentioned, she expired. Mrs. Poimboeuf, née Louise DeCourt had only reached the age of twenty-six years and her bereaved husband, father and mother and several brothers and sisters who survive her have the deep sympathy of a legion of friends. The remains were brought to New Iberia and interred in St. Peter's Catholic cemetery on Sunday morning in the presence of a large number of friends of the family.
