The death of Mr. Chas. Poirson, clerk for Mr. S. E. Sorrell at Olivier Tuesday 
morning is noted. Mr. Poirson was well known both here and in Jeanerette and it 
is with much regret that his friends learn of his departure. He was buried from 
the Catholic Church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock.

DIED: At his residence, near Oliver, on Tuesday, August 20th, Charly Pottson, 
Aged 46 years. the funeral services were held at St. Peters Catholic Church, 
this city on Wednesday morning.
