New Iberia, La., Sept 16. - Laurent Renoudet, aged 43 years, a planter of the 
Third Ward, and son of P. L. Renoudet, banker and lumberman, died suddenly 
Tuesday. Mr. Renoudet is survived by his wife and five children, his father, 
P. L. Renoudet, three brothers and two sisters. - Ex.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Laurent Renoudet, a son of our worthy fellow-citizen,
Hon. P. L. Renoudet were shocked last Tuesday when they learned that the gentleman had
suddenly succumbed after a few hours illness. Laurent was a native of Iberia Parish and
only reached the age of 43 years and 6 months, and leaves to mourn his loss several young
children, as well as his father and brothers and sisters. The funeral was held from 
St. Peter's Catholic church on Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the presence of a large
number of friends of the grief-stricken family.
