Died at the residence of her husband, in the 5th ward of this parish, on 
Friday the 12th instant at 5 o'clock, Mrs. Eugene Romero, nee Corinne 
Melancon, aged thirty-one years. The funeral took place from the St. Peters 
Catholic Church, this city, on Saturday the 13th instant, attended by a large 
number of relatives and friends of the bereaved family. She is survived by her 
husbands and five little children.
