(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, August 22, 1914, Image 5 Died, at her residence at Beaumont, Texas, on Saturday, August 15th, 1914, Mrs. Junius Sampson, nee Ella Moss Rose, born April 20th, 1858. Mrs. Sampson had been in bad health for some time and the loss of her husband who succumbed about four months ago after an illness of a few days was such a shock to her that it was evident the end was near when she was first stricken to her bed. Deceased was a native of Fausse Pointe, where her mother and brother, Mr. Dave Rose still reside. She leaves to mourn her demise three children, Mr. W. R. and C. C. Sampson and Miss Margaret an only daughter. The funeral services were held at the Episcopal church on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Dr. Diggs officiating. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and relatives.
