(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, February 13, 1915, Image 5 Died, at her residence, corner of Bridge Street and Duperier Avenue on Monday, February 8th, 1915, at five o'clock A. M., Mrs. Antonia Sapienza, aged 37 years. Deceased had been ailing only a few days, in fact had opened her place of business as usual early that morning when she was stricken from heart failure and died. She leaves to mourn her loss two young children, a daughter and son, both of whom have the sympathy of many friends, especially among the Italian population. Deceased was a native of Coreleone (sic), Italy and was conducting a small grocery near the City Bridge. The funeral was held from St. Peter's church on Tuesday at 10 o'clock. 2nd.
