NECROLOGICAL.

J. Clerville Segura, the owner of extensive real estate holdings just beyond the 
western borders of this city, died at his country home on Tuesday night, at the 
very ripe age of 92 years. His funeral took place on Thursday afternoon from St. 
Peters Catholic Church.

Died, at his country residence near New Iberia on Tuesday, December 10th, at 12 o'clock
p. m., J. "Clerville" Segura, one of the old landmarks of Iberia Parish, born January
20th, 1820. Deceased was a half brother of the late Raphael Segura, father of Messrs.
P. H. Segura and Ovide Segura. Deceased leaves a large number of relatives
throughout the Parish. The remains were interred at St. Petrr's (sic) Catholic cemetery
last Thursday evening at [smudge] o'clock.
