Mr. Ledoux Smith Dead.

Alexandria, La., Jan. 29. - Ledoux E. Smith, twice treasurer of the State of 
Louisiana, died at the Rapides hotel early Monday from pneumonia. The death 
occurred within one block of the house in which Mr. Smith was born.

The body will be buried in New Iberia, leaving here at 6:30 a. m., tomorrow. 
Funeral services will be conducted in the Epiphany Episcopal church of New 
Iberia.
