Died, in New Iberia, on Wednesday, January 27th, 1915, at 4:30 o'clock a. m., 
Widow Isham Sorrells, nee Mary Laughlin. Deceased was born on the 22nd day of 
May, 1853. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic church on Thursday 
morning at 9 o'clock.

DEATH OF MRS. ISHAM SORRELLS.

The Grim Reaper invaded the home of Mrs. Isham Sorrells last Wednesday morning
at 4:30 o'clock and robbed her children of a devoted mother. Deceased was a
sister of the late Clifford Laughlin and leaves a large number of relatives
besides her six children to mourn her demise. The funeral services were held
from St. Peter's Catholic church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. She was a
native of Iberville Parish and also has many relatives residing there who
deplore her death.
