Joseph St. Martin - Funeral services were held from the family residence and 
St. Peter's Catholic Church Monday afternoon at five o'clock for Joseph H. 
St. Martin. Rev.. Father Verheem officiated. Interment was in St. Peter's 
cemetery.

Mr. St. Martin died at the age of ninety years, two months and four days.

While a native of France, Mr. St. Martin had lived in Louisiana for seventy-
three years. In his early life he was prominent in business enterprises in 
Loreauville and Bayou Lafourche. He operated a farm in the sixth ward in 
this parish for more than forty years.

His wife preceded him in death fourteen years ago. He is survived by four 
daughters: Mrs. Jennie DeMarcay of New Orleans; Mrs. Paul DeMarcay of 
Cumberland, Maryland; Mrs. Alcide Crochet and Miss Adele St. Martin of New 
Iberia; three sons, Paul and Alfred St. Martin of New Iberia and August St. 
Martin of Jennings.

He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and a number of great 
grandchildren.
