Taylor passed away, at her home on the corner of Taylor and Julia streets, this city. Mrs. Taylor was the widow of the late Jno. J. Taylor, who was a leader in the commercial life of this city some years ago. She was born on Bay Side plantation nearly sixty years ago and spent the greater portion of her useful and beautiful life in this city. She was a devout Christian of the Methodist faith, a kind and loving mother, an affectionate and devoted wife, loved by all who came within the sphere of her acquaintance. She is survived by five children: Messrs. John and Robert, Mrs. Don Caffery, Jr, and Misses Louise and Mary Taylor. The funeral took place on yesterday afternoon from her late residence at 5 p. m. and was very largely attended.
