Died, at his residence, No. 118 West St. Peter Street on Friday, January 2d, 
1913, Mr. Bertrand Toffier, born Nov. 5th, 1850, a native of the Parish of 
Iberia. Mr. Toffier has been living with his family of children in this City 
for a number of years, having come here from Loreauville where he was highly 
esteemed. His funeral was held from St. Peter's Catholic church this morning 
at 8 o'clock A. M.

DIED: At his residence in this city on Friday forenoon at 8:45, Mr. Bertrand
Toffier, born November 9th, 1850. The funeral took place this morning from
St. Peters Catholic Church, at 10 o'clock. Mr. Toffier lived for many years
in Fausse Pointe, where he and his family have a wide circle of relatives
and friends. He moved with his family to this city several years ago and
here the younger children received their schooling and grew to maturity.

The deceased has been for several years the guardsman for the railroad
crossing at Washington and Julia streets.
