(New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, November 29, 1913, Image 2 DIED: At the residence of her husband, on Jefferon's Island, on Friday morning at 3:30 o'clock, November 28th, Mrs. L. M. Turner, nee Emila Nussbaum, born at New Orleans, February 22, 1879. The funeral took place from the First M. E. Church, South, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Turner presented her spouse with twins on last Tuesday morning. Both the little ones, a boy and a girl, are doing well. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nussbaum have opened their home and hearts to the little motherless children. source: The Weekly Iberian. We are deeply sensible to that quality of friendship which has been so generous in kind words of consolation and many acts and services which speak louder than words. - L. M. (New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, September 14, 1918, Image 4 Died, at the home of her husband on Jefferson's Island, on Friday, November 28th, at 3:30 o'clock A. M., Mrs. Marlin Turner, nee Emilie Nussbaum, born in New Orleans on February 22d, 1879, after an illness of but a few days. Mrs. Turner had recently given birth to twins, a boy and a girl and suffered an attack of acute brights disease from which she succumbed. The funeral was held from the Methodist Episcopal church yesterday evening at four o'clock. She leaves besides her husband, several young children to mourn her demise. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nussbaum of this City and was highly esteemed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
