Verrier's soul took flight at six o'clock A. M. on Wednesday, January 21st, 1920, after seven years of suffering caused by an automobile accident. She met death fearlessly as she had always been a true Christian in action and deeds. Always ready to assist those in need. No disease no matter what it could be was feared by her, as she nursed the poor as well as those that knew not want, free of charge. Her children were: Mrs. Dugas; Mrs. A. J. Rebert, Miss Alice Marie and Eleonore Verrier, of New Orleans; a grand-son, Mr. Ramon Mascarro and a grand-daughter, Alberta Rebert. The funeral was conducted st St. Peter's Catholic church on last Thursday afternoon.
