Death of Judge Felix Voorhies.

Judge Felix Voorhies died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Dauterive 
in New Iberia, Thursday evening. He was buried here Friday evening.

Judge Voorhies was one of our brilliant jurist, and was a writer of note, in 
French and English, and his writings are many, including songs and music.

Judge Voorhies leaves a large family of grown children to mourn his death. 
Mr. Dan W. Voorhies of this town being one of his sons.
