The many friends of Mrs. E. H. Walet, Sr., will learn with sorrow of her 
death, which occurred on Friday evening last, at her residence, at Belle 
Place, aged 62 years and 10 months. Her remains were buried from the Catholic 
church in New Iberia, this afternoon, accompanied to their last resting place 
by a host of sorrowing friends.
