We learned yesterday morning of the rather sudden and unexpected death of Maj. 
J. F. Wyche, who died at his home place, after a brief illness of some three 
or four days. At the time of his death he was 66 years of age  [smudge] moths 
[sic] and 26 days. The funeral took place at 10 a. m. today, and services were 
conducted by Rev. C. C. Kramer.
