DIED - At the family residence, on Bellemont plantation, Iberia Parish, on 
Thursday, November 16th, at 11 o'clock p. m., Mrs. J. F. Wyche, nee Mary 
Peebles, a native of Kentucky, age 74 years. The funeral took place from the 
Epiphany Episcopal Church yesterday afternoon at [smudge] o'clock. Mrs. Wyche 
was the widow of the late John Fletcher Wyche, who was some years ago one of 
the prominent sugar planters of this Parish. She is survived by an only son, 
Mrs. Jas. W. Wyche.
