Hon. Leonard Frere.

Died, at Covington, La., on Wednesday, May 17th, 1911, at 3:30 p. m., Hon. 
Leonard S. Frere, assessor of Iberia Parish. His remains were brought up here 
on Thursday, and received by the Iberia Lodge No. 554, B. P. O. Elks, of which 
he was a member. The funeral services were held at the Episcopal church and his 
remains were laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, followed by a large concourse 
of friends as a token of their esteem and respect.
