MARRIED.

Mr. Jules Francois, of St. Martinville, was quietly married to Miss Marie 
Philomene Bonin of New Iberia, Tuesday night, the 2nd inst.

This marriage was quite a surprise to Mr. Francois' friends, as they all looked 
upon him as a bachelor, proof against the pointed arrows of Cupid, and when he 
announced to them, his marriage, they took it as a joke, and laughed at the 
idea of him being in love.

We wish our friend Jules and his pretty wife a long life of happiness and 
prosperity. - St. Martinsville Messenger.
