A quiet but pretty wedding of the past week was that of Miss May Breaux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Breaux to Mr. Alphonse Viator of this City. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father J. M. Langlois on Monday afternoon at 5:30, at the Catholic church. The bride who was accompanied to the Altar by her father was immediately preceded by her sister, Miss Anita Breaux, who acted as Maid of Honor. She wore a beautiful white dress of hand embroidered lingerie, elaborately trimmed with lace and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses and fern. The bride looked lovely in a rich gown of embroidered marquisette over satin, the veil of illusion which fell to the hem of her gown was becomingly attached with orange blossoms to her dark hair in a beautiful cap effect. A handsome bouquet of Valley Lillies and fern completed her beautiful costume. The bride groom was attended by Mr. Elodias Migues, who acted as best man and together with the priest awaited the brides coming in the Chancel. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the brides parents to which a large number of guests were present and congratulated the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Viator have taken up their residence with the groom's parents on West Main Street.
